I basically just told him I'd give him $10 an hour if he kept an eye on it for me. He happily took the offer since he was already sleeping right by there anyways. Even though I had him do that though, I did go out to look at the car about 30 minutes after going in and prolly another hour after that just to glance to make sure that even he wasn't doing anything to it. Each time I did that, I saw him just sitting up by the driver's side door awake just kinda staring out into space (not leaning on the car ofcourse..I asked him not to). Anyways, it just gave me some added peace of mind, cause I was not planning on going to Dallas that night or I would not have driven the Z. I have no problem leaving my car parked in parking lots, but in downtown Dallas at 1am...that's a whole nother story. Anyways, when me and my friends were done, we walked back to the ghetto "parking lot," all went and talked to the guy that watched my car (Greg) for a while, and thanked him for watching it. Then we all hoped in our cars, and I gave him $30 for his time and a bottled water I bought for him in the club. He was actually a REALLY nice guy too and I really felt sorry for him cause he was wearing a really old looking jacket that said Vietnam Vet with a date on it with all sorts of patches ect. Hopefully I'll meet him again next time I go down there (this time without the Z haha) so I can chat with him somemore.
